Email meeting minutes to staff

After updating the minutes from our latest department meeting, I use the FlyDoc web service to email the minutes and the presentation file to the staff. FlyDoc can effectively handle the large file size and I can track delivery.

Create letter for investors

2:15 2:30

Mail investor letter

With FlyDoc, it’s easy for the President to keep the investors updated. Once I have a final version of the letter I use mail merge to insert their addresses from my database. Instead of printing to the local office printer, I select the FlyDoc printer and my letters are on their way. I don’t have to sort or fold letters and best of all I don’t have to lick envelopes or wait in line at the post office.

Take minutes during conference call with new business partner

3:30 4:30

Work with the President on changes to contract

4:30 4:40

Fax contract to potential partner

We’ve finally nailed down the contract but the entire agreement with attachments is over 30 pages long! I add a fax cover page in my word processor than log in to FlyDoc and select the fax option. FlyDoc scans my cover page and finds the fax number. I click a button and my fax is sent. I definitely don’t miss the old days of standing by the fax machine, waiting for a contract to go through.

4:40 5:00

Check FlyDoc Manager to track documents

It’s easy to check on all the documents I’ve sent today, yesterday, last week or last month. I can view status information on jobs and even individual messages. I verify that the investor letters are in the mail and the staff has all received the minutes. Thanks to FlyDoc I can leave on time, without worrying about the important letters and faxes that needed to get out today.
